2048 Cupcakes
Merge two matching cupcakes and they bake into a fancier one. Keep going until you reach the Rainbow Cupcake. Same rules as classic 2048, sweeter artwork.

The Cupcake Order
Every cupcake stands for a number, and each one is worth double the cupcake below it. Learn this ladder and the game becomes as readable as the number version.
How to Play 2048 Cupcakes
- Move the board. Press an arrow key or swipe. Every cupcake slides as far as it can.
- Merge matching cupcakes. Two identical cupcakes that collide bake into the next cupcake up.
- Watch a new cupcake appear. After each move, a Vanilla or Strawberry cupcake drops into a random empty space.
- Keep climbing. Two Vanillas make a Strawberry. Two Strawberries make a Chocolate.
- Bake the Rainbow Cupcake to win. You can then keep playing for a higher score.
The game ends when the board fills and no two neighbouring cupcakes match.
Press Show numbers above the board to display each cupcake's value. It is the fastest way to learn the order, and you can hide them again once the pictures click.
Winning Strategy
The strategy is identical to classic 2048, because the rules are identical. Pick one corner, keep your best cupcake there, and use only two directions for almost every move.
- Anchor a corner. Bottom-left or bottom-right works for most people. Never move your biggest cupcake out of it.
- Build a descending row. Line up your anchor row from best cupcake down to smallest.
- Clear small cupcakes fast. Stray Vanillas block the merges you actually want.
- Keep spaces open. A crowded board leaves you with one legal move and no choice.
